Product descriptions, images, mockups, colours, sizes, and designs are displayed as accurately as reasonably possible. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings, garment batches, fabric type, supplier availability, production methods, and printing limitations.
Colours shown on a screen may differ slightly from the final printed product. This is because screens lie with confidence, and fabric has its own little rebellion.
3. Print-on-Demand Products
Many products sold by Filia Virtutis are printed only after a customer places an order.
Because print-on-demand products are made specifically for each order, production may begin shortly after payment is confirmed. Once production has started, it may not be possible to cancel, change, or amend the order.
Print-on-demand products may not be eligible for return, refund, or exchange where the reason is:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size selected by the customer
- Incorrect colour selected by the customer
- Customer-submitted spelling errors
- Customer-approved artwork errors
- Incorrect product selected by the customer
- Personal preference after receiving the item
This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer protection law where a product is defective, unsafe, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
4. Custom and Personalised Orders
Where a customer provides or approves custom details, including names, text, images, artwork, designs, logos, slogans, dates, or instructions, the customer is responsible for ensuring that all information is correct before placing the order.
Before completing checkout, customers should carefully check:

- Colour
- Quantity
- Spelling
- Names
- Dates
- Artwork quality
- Artwork placement
- Uploaded files
- Custom instructions
- Delivery information
Filia Virtutis is not responsible for customer-submitted errors once the order has been confirmed and production has started.
5. Artwork, Copyright, and Intellectual Property
By uploading, submitting, or providing artwork, designs, images, logos, photographs, text, slogans, or any other material to Filia Virtutis, you confirm that:
- You own the material, or
- You have permission to use the material, and
- The material does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy right, personality right, or other third-party right.
You agree not to submit content that is:
- Illegal
- Defamatory
- Hateful
- Racist
- Discriminatory
- Threatening
- Abusive
- Pornographic
- Fraudulent
- Misleading
- Infringing on another person’s rights
- Otherwise inappropriate at our discretion
Filia Virtutis reserves the right to refuse to print or produce any order containing content we consider inappropriate, unlawful, offensive, or infringing.
You remain the owner of your submitted artwork. However, by submitting artwork to us, you grant Filia Virtutis permission to use that artwork for the purpose of processing, printing, producing, quality-checking, and delivering your order.
All content on the Filia Virtutis website, including branding, text, product images, layouts, graphics, designs, and logos, remains the property of Filia Virtutis or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
6. Orders
An order is placed when you complete checkout and payment is successfully processed.
After placing an order, you may receive an email confirmation. This confirmation does not guarantee that the order has entered production or that all products are available.
Filia Virtutis reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or amend an order where:
- Payment has not been received
- Payment is reversed or disputed
- The product is unavailable
- There is a pricing or product error
- The order appears fraudulent
- The customer has provided incorrect information
- The submitted artwork is unlawful or inappropriate
- We are unable to fulfil the order for any reasonable reason
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, and the cancellation is not due to customer misconduct or unlawful content, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
7. Pricing
All prices displayed on the website are listed in South African Rand, unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice. The price shown at checkout at the time of placing your order is the price that applies to that order.
Filia Virtutis reserves the right to correct pricing errors. If a product was incorrectly priced, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue with the corrected price or cancel the order.
8. Payment
Orders must be paid in full before production or dispatch.
Payment may be made using the payment methods available on the website, which may include:

11. Failed Deliveries
If a courier is unable to deliver because the customer provided incorrect details, was unavailable, or failed to respond to delivery communication, the customer may be responsible for additional delivery fees.
If an order is returned to Filia Virtutis due to failed delivery, we may contact the customer to arrange re-delivery at the customer’s cost.
12. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements
Filia Virtutis offers a 21-day period for customers to request a return, refund, or replacement where there is a valid issue with the product.

14. Items Not Eligible for Refund or Exchange
Because many Filia Virtutis products are print-on-demand or custom-made, we generally do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

- Incorrect size selected by the customer
- Incorrect colour selected by the customer
- Incorrect product selected by the customer
- Customer-submitted spelling mistakes
- Customer-uploaded low-quality artwork
- Customer-approved design errors
- Personal preference after receiving the item
- Minor colour differences caused by screen display settings
- Minor placement variations within reasonable production tolerance
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect washing, or normal wear and tear
This clause does not remove any rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
15. Size Guide
Customers are responsible for checking the size guide before placing an order.
Garment sizing may vary slightly between brands, styles, suppliers, cuts, and fabric types.
We recommend comparing the size guide to an existing garment that fits you well before ordering. This tiny ritual may prevent the ancient tragedy of “I thought medium would fit.” 👕
Filia Virtutis is not responsible where the customer selects the wrong size, unless the wrong size was supplied due to our error.
16. Care Instructions
Customers must follow the care instructions provided with the product or displayed on the website.
Printed garments may require specific washing and drying methods to preserve print quality.
Unless otherwise stated, we recommend:
- Washing garments inside out
- Using cold or mild temperature washing
- Avoiding bleach
- Avoiding harsh detergents
- Avoiding tumble drying where possible
- Avoiding ironing directly over printed areas
Filia Virtutis is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing, or general misuse.
